Felt Witchy, Might Delete Later

I don’t know why I made this, but I felt a compelled to make a box covered with magical symbols.

It’s 14 cm x 14 cm x 7 cm. The lid is John Dee’s Sigillum Dei. One side shows John Dee’s monas hieroglyphica. The other has Cornelius Agrippa’s drawing of a man in pentagram surrounded by astrological symbols. The opposite two sides is are the alchemical symbols for water, fire, earth, and air, and the alchemical symbol for the Philosopher’s Stone.

I laser cut and laser engraved the whole thing on 3 mm birch plywood.

It was really easy to make, but looks pretty cool.

When I made it, I had no idea of what to put in it, but I wanted the dimensions. I’ve been thinking about making a much larger shrine / magical box, and this was designed to fit inside that.

I thought about putting my tarot decks in it, but not all of them fit, and my other occult tools are too few and too small to make proper use of the space.

I’ll figure something out for it though.
