5.4 in Illinois. I guess that’s means it’s not actually New Madrid. Looks like some concrete has fallen in Louisville. KFVS doesn’t have any reports of damage yet. They are reporting damage in Louisville. 5.4 isn’t that big, but it can damage some buildings and break dishes.

We just had an earthquake! Yay!
Since I moved out to California, I’m been wanting an earthquake. Not big one. Just something to rattle the dishes and let you know you had one. And we had a 5.6! Perfect right? Not really. I missed it. I was sitting IMing Sarah about something when she said, “Did we just have earthquake?” “I don’t think so.” Then sure enough, the USGS reported it, and if that wasn’t enough, my upstairs neighbor came down and asked about the earthquake. Everyone seemed to notice it except me.
