Today I got stopped behind a black SUV with several window stickers on it. Only two are important. There was the giant “Teamsters Local 347 West Frankfort, IL” sticker. Below that was… “Bush Cheney 04″
Bravo.
I recognized who it was after they turned off. I told my parents about the stickers, and whose car it was on. My dad’s comment was, “Well, he always was stupid.” My mom’s comment was, “Well he’s getting what he deserves now.” Unfortunately, we’re all getting what he deserved.
There was another poltical sticker on it, Bradley for Illinois GA-117 (Democrat). The recent trend of voting for Democrats locally, but Republicans nationally is alive and well in SI.
